I have purchased this Kenwood 1804S in 1.5 Ton on Sunday 09th April 2017 from Hyperstar promotion @ 59,999/-
Delivery & Installation was also free of cost.
We tested its power consumption on real time environment personally, details are mentioned below.
From starting it was consuming 2 Amp, gradually after few minutes it moved 3 Amp & then stayed on 5 Amp.
After achieving targeted cooling it came down again in between 2 up to 2.5 Amp.
As per my technical calculation its power consumption in better then ! Ton Non inverted AC.
Did you buy 1 ton or 1.5 ton? Because 1 ton is confirm 1814 model but they have not mentioned the model number of 1.5 ton. It may model 1813. Their shape is same but 1813 saves upto 60% energy whereas 1814 saves upto 75% energy.
I am going to hyperstar to buy it. Your guidance would be valuable.

mere pass 1804s aik saal se hai.
problem yeh hai k pehlay monthly sirf 250-350 unit consume hotay thay.
Ab 600-700 units consume kar raha hai smart mode par.
Service karwa chuka hn aur company ka technician bhi dekh kar gaya hai.
Issue samajh nahi a raha.

I have checked amperes , ITS start from 7-7.5 and keep itself at minimum 6.
Secondly outer starts after 3-5 minutes normally. but here outer starts as power button pressed.

I think it is issue of some sensor which is malfunctioning but not reporting on display.
